Juan Torres-Camelo aka "JT"  is a Record Producer, Sound Designer and Audio Engineer. 

Born and Raised in Bogotá, Colombia 

 

JT moved to Los Angeles, California in 2016 pursuing the dream of learning the process of capturing and making records. 

While in L.A. he enrolled at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA.

At MI he learned Audio Engineering with a later on Post-Production Emphasis that prepared him for the world of Film and TV Audio. MI shaped the beginning of his journey.

Shortly after his graduation at MI, JT embarked himself in a Dual Majoring in Music Production and Engineering/Electronic Production and Design at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

At Berklee, Juan discovered the Blend of Synthesis with Production and Engineering. Ever since he has tried to merge both worlds.

 

 
 From Capturing the best performance possible, Mixing a Track or Mastering, designing a sound from Scratch or Recording a VoiceOver for a Commercial. JT Toolbox has enough variety to fulfill the necessity of any project.

JT's stand point is very musical. Starting at age 2 with the Violin using the famous Suzuki Method at age 14 he also picked the guitar an instrument that has been part of him ever since.
